COVID-19
Important Information
For clients visiting us face-to-face in our clinics, please take note of the following points to help us minimize the spread of COVID-19. We appreciate your assistance and patience in working together to keep each other and our environments as safe as possible.

Doorstep screening process
Please be aware there may be screening measures in place when you arrive including questionnaires about recent travel, contact with other persons who are confirmed cases or have travelled to COVID-19 hotspots, and whether you have any cold/flu-like symptoms. You may also be required to have your temperature taken before entering the clinic. These measures are subject to change at any time and we appreciate your co-operation with these changes.

PLEASE DO NOT ATTEND A FACE-TO-FACE APPOINTMENT IF YOU HAVE ANY COLD/FLU-LIKE SYMPTOMS INCLUDING A FEVER, COUGH, SORE THROAT, RUNNY NOSE, SHORTNESS OF BREATH, FATIGUE, NAUSEA/VOMITING OR DIARRHOEA. As per Queensland Health advice, if you have any of these symptoms, no matter how mild, call your doctor or 13HEALTH (13 43 25 84) and get tested.

Hand washing and hand sanitiser
Please maintain good personal hygiene practices before visiting the clinic including regular hand washing. Hand sanitiser is available at all of our clinics and we encourage you to use this on arrival to the clinic and during your visit, after you use the bathroom or touch your face.

Face masks
The use of face masks is at your discretion, unless otherwise mandated by the local authorities. If you would feel more comfortable that your clinician wore a face mask during your appointment, please let us know when you arrive.

Physical distancing
We ask that all visitors to our clinics do their best in maintaining physical distancing practices, including remaining at least 1.5m apart where possible. We ask that you attend the clinic alone, or with only one (1) other person (e.g. a parent or support worker) where possible. If our reception areas or waiting rooms are full and it is not possible to distance safety, please wait outside of the clinic or in your car and your clinician will call you in when ready.

Phone consultations and telehealth appointments
If you do not feel comfortable attending our clinics in person, you are welcome to change your appointment to a phone or telehealth consultation. Please let us know when booking or confirming your appointment what you would prefer.
Medicare and private health rebates still apply for phone and telehealth consultations. Your clinician will collect your payment details at the end of the session and process your payment and rebate via our secure practice management software. Any resources discussed during your consultation can be emailed or mailed to you after your session.
