REBATES AVAILABLE

Medicare currently provides rebates for dietetic services only for those who are eligible to receive an Enhanced Primary Care "EPC" Plan (also known as a Chronic Disease Management Plan) or Eating Disorders Management Plan from their GP. Your doctor will determine whether or not you are eligible for a plan. The current Medicare rebate provided for dietetic services is $60.35, making the out of pocket cost $94.65 for the initial consultation and $24.65 for reviews. If you have reached the threshold under Medicare Safety Nets, you may receive more back. Please note we are not a bulk billing practice.

You will be required to pay the full amount at the end of your appointment via credit/Visa debit card through our online software system, before your rebate can be processed. You will typically receive the rebate back into your account within 24-48 hours of processing.

Please note > Private health insurance claims can not be used at the same time as Medicare rebates.

If you have private health insurance extras cover, you may be able to claim a rebate from your insurer for dietetic consultations depending on your level of cover. As each policy is different, please call or visit your local health fund to find out your personal level of cover. For participating health funds, Medipass is available via our online software for you to claim private health rebates at the end of your consult. Medipass works via your mobile phone and replaces the physical HICAPS terminal. Your dietitian will guide you through the process when completing your billing.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Please familiarise yourself with our booking T&Cs before making an appointment. To allow ample opportunity to reallocate your appointment time to someone else and protect the time of your practitioner, we require a minimum of 3 business days notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, otherwise a fee equivalent to 50% of the booking fee will be charged.

Non-attendance of appointments with no prior communication and appointments cancelled or rescheduled on the day of your booking will incur the full booking fee. Where possible, please give advanced notice if you are unable to attend your appointment so that we can reallocate the appointment time.

Monday appointments > Provide notice by the Wednesday prior

Tuesday appointments > Provide notice by the Thursday prior
