LORETTA HOWARD, APD AN

Principal Dietitian

Loretta is an Accredited Practising Dietitian, Accredited Nutritionist and a member of Dietitians Australia. She gained her qualifications from Queensland University of Technology with a Bachelor of Health Science majoring in Nutrition and Dietetics.

 

Loretta works with individuals seeking advice for a variety of conditions including weight and chronic disease management, disordered eating and food intolerances. She also practises alongside bariatric surgeons providing pre- and post-operative nutrition advice. Loretta works one day per week in a private hospital (mental health) and enjoys the wide variety of patients, colleagues and experiences these roles bring.

 

Loretta believes in taking a sensible and flexible approach in the process of tailoring nutritional advice to clients' individual needs and goals. She enjoys working closely with clients, employing key behavioural strategies to enable lifelong positive eating habits. Loretta believes that strict diets and meal plans are counterproductive to achieving a healthy relationship with food and our health and therefore discourages rigid dietary patterns.

SHERIDAN HARDIE, APD AN

Dietitian

Sheridan is an Accredited Practising Dietitian with Dietitians Australia, graduating from the Queensland University of Technology with a Bachelor in Dietetics and Nutrition Science. In addition, she holds a Bachelor of Behavioural Science (Psyc) from the University of Queensland, equipping her with the skills, knowledge, and passion to motivate and work with you to achieve your health goals.

 

Sheridan joined Fresh Perspective Nutrition and Dietetics in 2020 and has an interest in chronic conditions, including diabetes; weight loss to promote health; disordered eating; and nutrition to optimise mental health. All aspects of Sheridan’s practice are evidence-based, individualised to you, and through the lens of fostering a healthy relationship with food.

 

During the week, Sheridan works as a dietitian in the hospital setting and is available for Saturday morning consultations at the Green Apple Wellness Centre.
